Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting - 034

You know him as the man with the amber afro and patient voice that helped you create happy landscapes from a blank white canvas.  However, there’s much more to Bob Ross than the painter that mesmerized us all on PBS.  Before The Joy of Painting, Bob was a veteran, a family man, and Alaskan denizen.

Alex has a special connection with Bob Ross, so he leads the look back on his life.  The gang discuss their memories of Bob, how he adopted his “wet-on-wet” technique, and the legacy that he created.

Movies is the category for Cryptogeekology 20 Questions this week.  The gang go the distance, but could have probably guessed it after one question.

Geeksquatch is a nostalgia podcast brought to you by a group of “enthusiasts” that grew up in the 80’s and 90’s -  and by enthusiasts, they’re actually just a bunch of friends that like to geek out about tv, movies, video games, and toys from their formative years.  Join the podcast each week to reminisce about nerd culture topics before they became retro favorites.  Come for the squatch, stay for the trivia.
